Welcome to Ventura County's Campaign Filing and Reporting service. This service is being provided to inform you of the terms of the County of Ventura Campaign Finance Reform Ordinance ( http://portal.countyofventura.org/portal/page/portal/ceo/divisions/COB/responsibilities/campaignFinance/ordinances ), as previously approved by the Board of Supervisors.

ATTENTION: Candidates and Committees Who Electronically File Campaign Finance Reports
The ability for candidates and committees to electronically file campaign finance reports on this website is temporarily disabled. Government Code Section 84615(b), effective January 1, 2013, requires an online or electronic filing system to now be compatible with the Secretary of State's online filing program. A new compatible online filing system is anticipated to be available in July 2013.
Until that time, please file any required online campaign finance statements in paper form with the County Elections Division, or by e-mailing a signed copy to campaign.finance@ventura.org. Copies of those paper reports will be posted by the Elections Division, until electronic filing is again available. For questions, please call the County Elections Division at 654-2745.

2013 Expenditure Limits

Primary Election Voluntary Expenditure Limitation Statement, effective June 21, 2013.

This service provides online filing and reporting of campaign finance activity for County of Ventura candidate controlled committees, i.e. Board of Supervisors, Assessor, Auditor/Controller, County Clerk/Recorder, District Attorney, Sheriff, Superintendent of Schools, & Treasurer-Tax Collector-Public Administrator, and Political Action Committees supporting or opposing County of Ventura candidates.

    Login
    Candidates and/or committee treasurers may login to electronically file campaign reports. To obtain a valid login, click here for instructions. In order to electronically file campaign reports, you must do the following:
    1. Sign up for Electronic Filing with the County of Ventura Elections Division in person.
    2. Receive your username and password from the County of Ventura Elections Division.
    3. File a copy of Form 410 in person with the County of Ventura Elections Division.
    Note: When filing online, a printed version of the report must also be signed, dated and delivered to the Elections Division in accordance with the State Political Reform Act.
